One Adoption South Yorkshire Adopters invited to share their views

People who have adopted through any of the South Yorkshire local authorities or those who are currently in the process of adopting with One Adoption South Yorkshire are being invited to attend one of a series of virtual consultation meetings to consider what the One Adoption South Yorkshire initial support offer should be to new adopters.

One Adoption South Yorkshire is working with Adoption UK's Adopter Voice to gather the views of adopters at different stages of the adoption journey, therefore three separate sessions have been arranged. 

The consultation events will be held virtually and all adopters on One Adoption South Yorkshire's mailing lists will receive joining instructions for each event. Adopters are being advised to join the event most relevant to their circumstances. 

1. 2nd Nov 2021 at 6pm - 8pm: For potential adopters currently in the assessment period, adopters who are approved but don’t yet have an adopted child or children, and adopters who have had their children for under a year.
2. 6th Nov 2021 at 6pm to 8pm: For adopters who adopted between one year and five years ago.
3. 23rd Nov 2021 at 6pm to 8pm: For adopters who adopted more than five years ago 

Any adopter within South Yorkshire who does not receive the email, can complete an enquiry form here on the website to be sent the joining instructions.
