One Adoption is made up of two (soon to be three) regional adoption agencies; One Adoption North and Humber and One Adoption West Yorkshire, with One Adoption South Yorkshire soon to be joining in 2021. Each agency provides all adoption services for the local authorities in their area. One Adoption West Yorkshire was the first regional adoption agency in the country launching in 2017.
Working regionally helps recruit new families more effectively, enables children to be placed in a more timely way and improves adoption support services as well as allowing us to share best practice and make our services even better. This means we can offer you the support and service you need whatever stage you're at.

Adoption Support Agencies
Adoption Support Agencies offer a range of support to those affected by adoption, adoptive parents and families, adults adopted as children and birth families. Such support can include helplines, support groups, and counselling and therapeutic help. ASAs can also provide consultation and training to professionals working in adoption.
There are currently two ASAs who provide a post-adoption service within the Yorkshire and Humber region. The links below will give you further information about the services they provide.
